Six relevant oil discoveries, for an estimated 339 million barrels, have been made in Mexico during the first months of 2020. One of these discoveries was from the Italian-based, multi-national company, ENI. ENI’s deposit amounts to 143 million barrels of oil and 68 thousand square feet of gas. The other five discoveries have been made by PEMEX, for a total of 102 million barrels of oil and 186 thousand square feet of gas.
