Italy’s Enel Turns On 3 Wind Generation Parks In Usa And Canada
Enel is fastly expanding in the renewable energy market in the USA and Canada thanks to its subsidiary Enel Green Power North America. Its latest achievements include the addition of  50 Megawatts generating power to the High Lonesome, Upton, Crokett County (TX) wind park, whose total power generation capability now totals 500 Megawatts - the largest in Enel’s renewable energy portfolio worldwide.

Most recently, Enel connected two wind power parks in Riverview, (105 Megawatts), and Caste Rock Ridge, (phase 2, 29.4 Megawatts) (AB) in Canada. These projects are meant to supply clean energy to manufacturing companies and industrial and commercial clients in both Canada and the USA.

According to Mr. Antonio Cammisecra, Enel Green Power’s CEO, in the first 3 months of 2020, the Italian based group incremented its global power generation capacity of 400 MW through various projects thus confirming its commitment to sustainability and a zero-emission future.
