Italian Innovation: SACMI IMOLA S.C. Italian Open House for the Latest in Labeling ‘Creations’

SACMI IMOLA S.C., a leading Italian technology supplier to the ceramic, plastic and packaging industries, will soon be presenting a new Formsleeve+ labeling machine at open house hosted at its offices in Italy on March 13th 2013. Putting to work laser or solvent technology, this breakthrough machines utilizes roll-fed film, making sleeves that have a heat-shrink percentage that is equal to current optimal standards. With a more adjustable design, which uses pliable material selection management, SACMI's new Formsleeve + labeling machine can expedite efficiency levels reducing both machine costs and material costs by up to 20%.

At the Open Day, Dr. Vezio Bernardi, the General Manager of the Beverage Division, will present this new machine, while providing an illustration of the technological advantages that the new Formsleeve+ will offer. Following this, Bernardi will give a live demonstration of the machine at work, giving participants an intimate look at not only the Formsleeve+, but the latest machines SACMI has made in the containers-closures production range, including their brand new IPS perform-making injection system. The day will proceed on with a display of the other elements in the SACMI Beverage department: such as their stretch-blow molder for PET bottles, Bag-In-Box integrated filling packaging units, and more. Concluding the day will be a visit to the SACMI R&D lab, where the innovations take place, and a second demonstration using the Formsleeve+, which is applicable in more than one way.
