In a significant move to broaden its product portfolio and strengthen its presence in North America, Pelliconi & C. S.p.A., an Italian manufacturer specializing in closures for the food and beverage industry, has successfully acquired production assets from plastic cap maker Novembal.

The acquisition includes two key production sites, one located in Rawdon, Quebec, and the other in Peoria, Arizona. Formerly owned and operated by Novembal, these facilities will now be integrated into Pelliconi's operations, marking a strategic step towards increasing production capacity and expanding market reach.

The financial details of the transaction, which was officially announced on January 18, have not been disclosed. Pelliconi's CEO, Marco Checchi, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, "We are pleased to have successfully concluded this transaction and look forward to continuing on our path of innovation in the packaging closures industry. This project represents an important step in our group’s growth journey."
