Nissan-Renault And Mitsubishi Establish A New Strategic Global Alliance
Nissan-Renault and Mitsubishi have announced a news strategic global strategy.  As a result of this alliance, which aims to generate a more efficient use of available resources, each company will focus on  specific regions and markets. While Renault will be in charge of Europe, Mitsubishi will handle the Southeast Asian markets and Nissan will concentrate on the North American region.

Nissan currently has production plants both in Mexico and the USA and an engineering development facility in the USA.

According to the new strategy, each company will develop a “pilot/mother” vehicle platform which will be later adapted by the other two companies to their markets and needs.

The strategy will likely boost Nissan foothold in North America and particularly in Mexico.
