Great possibilities for Italian SMEs specialized in the production of packaging and bottling machinery in Mexico.

UCIMA, the Italian trade association, is committed to supporting companies in the most important sector of the local fair, Expo Pack Mexico 2013. In general, Italy exports about 90% of its production, but the margin for growth is still very high.

Mexico represents a very strong market for the Italian packaging machinery industry for food, beverages, medicines and other non-food products. Industries buy about US$500 million worth of machinery every year. And it is an industry expected to grow by 5% per year, and sees Italy as the main supplier, with a market share of 30%, followed by the U.S. (22.8%) and Germany (16%).
