Mexico, 20 Italian companies will participate in Expo Pack 2023

The packaging industry in Mexico accounted for the sum of $19 billion, or 2 percent of gross domestic product, in 2022. In Mexico, Italy ranks first in the list of suppliers of machinery for this industry, with a value of 160 million euros. The major users requiring this type of equipment belong mainly to the food and beverage sector, followed by the pharmaceutical and body care production industries.

The Italian pre-eminence in these sectors determines significant trade flows from Italy to Mexico and reinforces the positive image of the Bel Paese as a supplier of technologies, innovative designs and functions, with special attention to the changing needs of Mexican industrial operators.
