Machines Italia & Lamborghini @ AME TORONTO 2020 Conference
Machines Italia and ICE Agency Canada brought Lamborghini, the iconic Italian sports car brand, to the virtualAMETORONTO 2020 conference.

During a presentation, P. Eng. Ranieri Niccoli, Chief Manufacturing Officer of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.a., explained Manifattura Lamborghini, the revolutionary INDUSTRY 4.0-focused manufacturing process designed to assemble the company's Urus Super SUV platform. Lamborghini was able to double production volumes at the Sant'Agata Bolognese plant precisely because of this new system and significant investments in new smart technologies. Niccoli was one of the masterminds behind the modernization of the historic plant that has been the production heart of the Italian automaker for 56 years.

The live webcast presentation took place on Oct. 29, 2020 as part of the Machines Italia technology showcase at the AME conference and was attended by more than 150 delegates. The recording of the presentation will remain available to all registered conference attendees on the event website for 6 months. AAME TORONTO 2020 was held October 27-29, 2020. The annual conference of the Association of Manufacturing Excellence - AME is the largest event dedicated to INDUSTRY 4.0 and smart manufacturing. The 2020 edition was held online with a schedule of more than 40 hours of seminars, thematic presentations, factory visits and virtual exhibits , sessions and workshops, and numerous networking opportunities.
