Italian High Tech Invasion @ Collision 2019
From the time of Leonardo da Vinci 500 years ago to the present day, Italy has always remained a beacon for innovation in the arts, science, technology and engineering.

In keeping with Leonardo's legacy, Machines Italia - ICE Agency Canada has forged a strong partnership with Collision -a highly anticipated high tech conference held May 20-23, 2019 at the Enercare Center in Toronto, to contribute to the booming Canadian high tech sector by bringing a touch of Italian ingenuity.

Collision is one of the largest and fastest growing IT and advanced technology industry conferences in the world. The twenty-five thousand attendees from over one hundred and twenty countries were able to meet for four days with some of the greatest minds working in the field and top-notch speakers, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, producer and artist TIMBALAND, and Ev Williams, founder and CEO of Medium. Collision is the North American counterpart to a series of technology conferences that include Web Summit (Europe) and RISE (Hong Kong).

For the first time, Collision was held outside the United States and was also ICE Agenzia's first official participation in the event, with an information desk (# E124, Main Hall) and sixteen brilliant Italian companies, some of which were selected for the Collision Alpha / Beta program: Mindesk, Radoff, Ectabyte , RIC3D, Playcar and Deliverart. These six Italian startups had the exciting opportunity to present their innovative ideas in front of important investors, media and partners.
Giovanni Battistini, Vice President Open Innovation Science at Ferrero, the Italian manufacturer of brands such as Nutella and Kinder, gave a talk at Collision as part of the Corporate Innovation series and allowed the audience a peek inside Ferrero's innovative chocolate factory.
