Astaldi Group Wins Hub Job Order Of New Mexico City Airport
The contract to build the logistics hub Intermodal Center for Land Transport (CITT), at Mexico City's new airport has been awarded by Grupo Aeroportuario Ciudad México to Astaldi Group. The contract is valued at $350 million.
For the work, which is expected to last 32 months, Astaldi will enlist the support of Arendal Group, a well-known Mexican construction company.
Among the works to be carried out is a five-story, 450,000-square-foot building designed by architect Norman Foster, which will serve as a hub for ground transportation to/from the new airport.
