Architecture/construction: Italian collective at Expo Cihac fair

ICE -the agency for foreign promotion and internationalization of Italian companies- is organizing, in collaboration with the Confindustria Marmomacchine association, the collective participation of companies from Bel Paese active in the techno-lapid supply chain at the Expo Cihac 2023 fair, which will be held in Mexico City at the Citibanamex Center from Oct. 11-13.

Expo Cihac is a benchmark event in Latin America dedicated to innovations affecting the construction, architecture and furniture sectors. Construction is one of the main activities of the Mexican economy and the most important in terms of market value throughout the subcontinent.

In the 2022 edition, the fair welcomed more than 17,000 visitors and more than 250 registered exhibitors, figures that indicate a strong upswing in activity toward the potential of pre-pandemic levels (in 2019 there were 600 exhibiting companies and about 28,000 visitors).

In Mexico, the real value of annual output in the construction industry was 1,261 million euros in June 2022, a 6.8 percent increase over the same month in 2021.

Italy's collective participation will span an area divided into pre-equipped modules. Companies will be offered a free 12-square-meter module worth 150 euros + VAT/square meter, and participating companies will also benefit from the following services: registration to the event; graphics in the booth with logo; electrical connections; inclusion in the official fair catalog; inclusion in the Italian collective participation catalog; wi-fi connection; and assistance at the fair by ICE and Confindustria Marmomacchine staff.

Applications will be accepted until 6:59 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2023. For more information, interested parties can visit the event website.
