Projecta Engineering was founded ten years ago in Fiorano Modenese by Vincenzo Palumbo. Thanks to Palumbo’s experience he shortly led the company into becoming one of the top producers of digital ceramic tile decorating machines. The company’s international success commenced indeed with the design and commercialization of the rotary screen printing machine, which is still one of the most popular machines sold worldwide for decorating ceramic tiles.

Expertise and proficiency acquired over the years enabled the company to develop a digital printing system, designed and manufactured entirely at the factory in Fiorano Modenese. Projecta Engineering also provides a “Plug & Play” service at its headquarters in Fiorano Modenese. Founded in 1970 in Fiorano Modenese by Franco Stefani, the current President of the group, System SpA developed its core business in the ceramic sector, specializing in the production of machinery for decorating tiles and for the automation of end-of-line systems and storage. The first division of the Group, System Ceramics, quickly proved itself as the world leader for decorating systems, with products such as Rocket and subsequently Rotocolor, of which over 15,000 installations have been made to date world-wide. To these decorating systems, over the years of highly innovative technologies were added such as Rotodigit, a digital printing system for ceramic decoration which can be assembled on the Rotocolor decoration lines and the sorting line 4Phases, designed for sorting and packaging medium and large sized tiles. A significant evolution of T.S.C. Srl began in 2002 with the acquisition of an important brand name of the sector, presenting the market with complete systems for the third fire and trims, offering to its customers a complete range of products creating innovative custom-made technical specifications.

The market trend ceramic stones with natural effects and the return of the raw materials applied dry (atomized powders and coloured grits) stimulated T.S.C., which after years of continuous research, has made available to customers the patented technology: Décor Dry. A dry decoration system with graphics capability, similar to the wet printing silk-screen however, was able to ensure the massive and natural color effect that only with the use of raw materials (powders) or colored grits can be obtained; and helped find great success throughout the international market in 2003.

T.S.C. Srl, notoriously sensitive to market trends, then brought in 2008, JDP 2008: the only digital inkjet machine specially created for the third firing sector and special pieces. Gained through experience on the digital JDP 08, T.S.C. Srl has created for its customers a machine model highly innovative for digital printing on glazing line or others.
