PLASTIMAGEN, which occurred from March 8th to 11th, 2022, at the Citibanamex Fair Ground in México City, is the largest trade show for the plastic processing industry in Latin America. SMW‑AUTOBLOK, a global operating group in the workholding industry, expands operations into Canada. Brembo: USA-Mexico-Canada Sales +49.8%

The Italian company Brembo - present in Mexico with production plants in Puebla, Apodaca and Escobedo - closed the first half of the year with a net profit of 148.9 million euros, 17.3% higher compared to the same period last year. Revenues amounted to €1.75 billion, an increase of 28.3% compared to the first half of 2021. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) amounted to 305.3 million, a net increase of 13% compared to 270.2 million in H1 2021. Ecopol To Bring 130 New Jobs To Spalding Country (Atlanta, Georgia)

The Governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, announced Tuesday that sustainability-focused Ecopol, a European leader in the production of biodegradable PVA film, will invest more than $38 million and create 130 new jobs at the company's first North American facility in Spalding County south of Atlanta (Georgia).
