Machines Italia Brings North American Companies To Lamiera 2016

The eighteenth edition of LAMIERA hosted by BolognaFiere May 11-14 the 2016 edition registered a 10% increase in the number of visits (compared to the 2014 edition). The show 20,395 visitors, of which 857 were foreign operators. Italian Textile Machinery State of the Industry Report Second Quarter 2014: Foreign Orders Are Up!

For the second quarter of 2014, the textile machinery orders index elaborated by the research department at ACIMIT (the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers), recorded a 6% increase compared to the previous quarter, for an absolute value of 86 points (basis: 2010=100). (See Graph) This growth in orders came entirely from the foreign markets, for which an increase of 8% was recorded for the period from April to June, with the industry index of 92.1 points. For its part, the domestic market showed a decline in order intake for the second quarter (-9% over the previous quarter)

Italian Textile Machinery Exports Up 37% in 1st Q 2011

Exports of Italian machinery have risen 37% during the first quarter of 2011, compared with the same period last year, according to the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT).
