In the first 5 months of 2015, machinery imports, in the 15 "Machines Italia" sectors, grew by 26.2 percent, compared to the same period in 2014, with an aggregate value of €7,262 billion. The positive trend of Mexican machinery imports affects all sectors except metallurgy - foundry.

Positive growth in imports from Italy of agricultural machinery (+33.6 percent) footwear industry machinery, leather processing and tanning industry (+28.5 percent), marble processing machinery (+96.9 percent), glass processing machinery (+61.6 percent), printing and papermaking industry (+116.2%), ceramics processing machinery (+39.9%), hydraulic, pneumatic and transmission components (+63.8%), earthmoving and construction machinery (+59.1%), metalworking machine tools (+2.6%), woodworking (+146.1%).
On the other hand, the change in Mexican imports from our country of plastic and rubber processing machinery (-3.2%), packaging and wrapping (-15.3%), food processing machinery (-50.3%), textile machinery (-17.6%), and metallurgy/foundry machinery (-74.9%) was negative.
