Four Characteristics

Currently, the tires produced at this plant for electric cars have four different characteristics, and all the technology is developed at the complex:

Construction: Stronger to withstand electric car batteries.Soundproofing: Since electric motors are quiet, tires must be too.Rolling resistance: Important for energy efficiency.Torque resistance: Electric cars have a stronger initial force compared to combustion cars.

Multiple Plants

Since its inauguration on May 31, 2012, the company's total investment in the Mexican plant exceeds 900 million dollars, and production has increased from a capacity of 1.5 million tires to 8.5 million.

A videoconference was also held between the present authorities and nine collaborators who work in different plants of the company worldwide, most of them from the state of Guanajuato. They work in various areas such as engineering, acquisitions, logistics, production, supply chain, among others.
