With an investment of more than US$17 million, the new Magneti Marelli plant started operations in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico.

These structures, the fourth project installed by the company in the northern state of Coahuila, will generate 250 jobs.

During the inauguration ceremony, Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme pointed out that the new plant dedicated to the production of components for the automotive industry consolidates the attraction of investment and economic development opportunities in the state.

Humberto Lopes, general manager of the plant, indicated that it is expected that within two years this production site will become the best in the world, thanks to the skilled labor force and the conditions provided by the state.

For his part, Magneti Marelli's human resources manager, Luis Delabra, mentioned that the State of Coahuila stands out for its skilled labor and for guaranteeing the best conditions for companies.
