MAPEI Canada entries were winners in three categories at the Terrazzo Tile & Marble Association of Canada (TTMAC)'s 2023 Hardsurface Awards, including the top prize: Project of the Year. That distinction went to the Fantasyland Hotel lobby floor renovation within the West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Alberta – a project which also won in the Manufactured Tile and Slabs category. The other MAPEI project winner was the Union Station Moat Renovation, a 35,000 square-foot internal and external pedestrian concourse in downtown Toronto, Ontario, in the Technical Product Application category. 

The coveted "Project of the Year" award went to the Fantasyland Hotel lobby floor renovation in Edmonton, Alberta, which also garnered recognition in the Manufactured Tile and Slabs category. This remarkable project involved precision-cut, laminated, large-format marble composite tile and demonstrated MAPEI's commitment to excellence and innovation.

Another victorious project was the Union Station Moat Renovation in Toronto, Ontario, recognized in the Technical Product Application category. This transformation of the internal and external pedestrian concourse showcased MAPEI's expertise in working with flamed-granite stone tiles.

The TTMAC's judging panel, comprising architects and interior designers, carefully evaluated projects based on criteria like workmanship quality, level of difficulty, and unique features. MAPEI's contributions left a significant impact and resonated strongly with TTMAC representatives.
