Innovation in metalforming, fabrication, welding and finishing at FABTECH Mexico 2023

Jorge Arizmendi, Chief Operating Officer of FABTECH Mexico during the presentation of the 2023 edition added that more than an exhibition, FABTECH Mexico has become a center of innovation and knowledge for the industry, as well as a fundamental piece for the gestation and consolidation of manufacturing in Mexico.

It is worth noting that, over almost two decades, the exhibition has become the largest metalworking event in Mexico, where it has had more than 500 exhibitors and has brought together more than 10,000 professionals from Mexico and Latin America over 20,000 square meters of exhibition floor.

During the presentation, Jerónimo E. García De Brahi, CEO of HERRAMENTAL, a FOREM Group company and industry expert, highlighted the important moment in which the manufacturing industry in Mexico finds itself and the technological leap that has taken place in recent years, an advance that is reflected in a 30% increase in the installation of industrial robots in the world.

what can you find in each pavilion?

1) Forming and Bending Among the novelties that will be presented are presses with servomotors that are acquired for the manufacture of parts with high precision requirements, such as electronic and automotive components, as well as tools and dies, metal stamping, forming and assembly equipment, to name a few examples.

2) Technologies for manufacturing: laser and plasma cutting, coil processing, roll forming, plate and frame fabrication, saws and cutting machines, tools, press brakes, shears, punching, robotics, tube benders among others but whose innovation renew the technological bases in the transformation of plate, sheet and tube, as well as applications in all materials, whether aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, titanium, or any other.

3) Welding is a very dynamic pavilion where you can see firsthand the series of technological advances that industrial welding has experienced in recent years by improving its efficiency, quality and safety. Visitors will be able to interact with arc welding, TIG and MIG welding equipment or observe applications for metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, bronze, copper, nickel and alloys; as well as multi-process equipment, with memory parameters and limits to work according to welding procedure specifications.

4) Finishing, the fourth pavilion will exhibit products for high quality finishing, as well as paints, coatings and technology for corrosion control that takes into account aspects related to environmental care, and real-time monitoring of the performance of chemical products to improve their useful life and achieve maximum optimization.
