Founded in September of 1963 by its President, Mr Gilberto Cazzani, the OMIPA was founded as a machine-shop, producing plastic processing accessories such as extrusion dies, calendaring systems, and downstream equipment. Omipa soon extended its activity to the design and construction of complete installations for the production of sheet, foil, film and hollow profile in different thermoplastic materials.
Today, OMIPA is a family-owned company, with a staff of over 120 employees, sub-divided into specialized operators, mechanical, electronic and software engineers and administrative / commercial personnel.
From the very beginning of its activity, during the mid 60s, OMIPA organized its company structure expressly to deal with the international market in a professional and competent way and, as a result of these efforts; exports reached a maximum level of 99 % of the total sales.
OMIPA offers to its customers around the world, the technical assistance and know the plastics market which is constantly evolving.
Despite the ambitious objectives achieved up to now, all our efforts are still concentrated on predicting progress, by proposing innovative solutions and constant improvements that enable Omipa to keep its international leadership worldwide.
