The Machine Tool Division of the Camozzi Group arises from the fusion of two historical brands of Brescian Industry: Berardi SpA founded in 1926 and Innse Macchine Utensili SpA founded in 1887. INNSE BERARDI SPA's working plants are located in Brescia, Via Attilio Franchi 20. The recent acquisition of Ingersoll (2003) has further strengthened the machine tools division. This company, located in Rockford, Illinois, is an international leader in the production of special machine tools for aeronautic/aerospace, defense and energy fields. The production range of the machine tools division includes: transfer lines, high-speed horizontal machining centers, big-size horizontal lathes, milling and turning centers, fixed/movable gantry type-milling machines, horizontal boring-milling machines, medium-size machining centers, rotor-slotting machines, deep-hole drilling machines; cold mill work roll EDT machine. These machines are used in the following application sectors: Aerospace, Defense, Energy, Earth moving and Automotive fields.
