Since the early 1900s, Carle & Montanari has been designing and building machinery and equipment for the transformation of cocoa and the processing, moulding and packaging of chocolate. More than 1,700 factories produce chocolates, snacks and bars using Carle & Montanari technology and equipment, and the name Cavemil – named after Emilio Cavalieri (CAValieri EMILio), who invented the first automatic chocolate plant in the 1950s – remain a byword for chocolate molding all over the world. Following its takeover by the Sacmi group, Carle & Montanari operates directly in 23 countries and has sufficient resources to invest significantly in research and development.

Thanks to the integration of the Packaging Division, Carle & Montanari is today the only global supplier that can provide companies in the sector with machines, plants and services from cocoa processing to packaging.
