Growth for Italy’s natural stone exports confirmed: +13.9% in the first 9 months of 2022. According to statistics processed by Confindustria Marmomacchine 's Studies Center, from Jan- Sept 2022, Italy’s overall exports of marbles, travertines, and natural stones generally increased in value by 13.9% from the same period the previous year, reaching worth of 1,562.6 million euros. A fundamental contribution to growth came from finished and semi-finished materials, whose foreign sales in the first 9 months of 2022 increased by 17.4% from the same period in 2021, for a total of 1,274.5 million

Lavazza North America, part of global Italian coffee company Lavazza Group, begins construction of the first roasting and packing plant in the United States. The new plant is slated to open in October 2021 and will serve the US market.
