The Italian Trade Commission - Canada and US network in partnership with ANIMA, the confederation of associations representing Italy’s mechanical industry, organized a delegation to MCE Expocomfort which took place in Milan, Italy from March 8 to 11, 2022. The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with PNICube, the Italian Association of Competitions for University Incubators and Local Business Plans, are honouring Italian start-ups that achieve significant success abroad in the fields of ICT, Science, Engineering and Technology, with its “L’innovazione che parla italiano” (Innovation that Speaks Italian) award. Italian Embassy, Carleton University e University of Toronto, collaborated on a special Canada-Italy innovation event hosted by Carleton University at the Ottawa campus. Called Spin-off and Startups: Innovation Partnerships Between Universities, Researchers, Institutions and Industry, the event drew dozens of university presidents, representatives of leading research centres, venture capitalists and Canadian and Italian companies which participated in discussions and heard speakers on diverse subjects centred around the key theme of R&D and marketing of innovations. “Our goal is to accelerate
