The growth of the Italian packaging machinery manufacturers shows no sign of stopping. The orders index for textile machinery compiled by ACIMIT, the association of Italian textile machinery manufacturers comprising of 300 companies, for the period between July-September 2018, has remained stable compared to the same period for 2017. While machinery orders received by ACIMIT members increased in Italy, there was a fall in export markets. In the first half of 2018, the export of automobiles assembled in Mexico grew by 10.5% compared to the same period last year, for a total increase in vehicle production equal to 6.4%.
