Italy Invests in US: Alabama Governor Ivey announces expansion of 2A SpA's auto parts foundry in Auburn

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey announced this week that 2A S.p.A., a prominent Italian die-casting company, plans to invest $15 million to expand its foundry in Auburn, where it serves as a Tier 1 supplier to major producers of automobiles and heavy trucks. ALUMINUM SMELTING COURSE TO BE HELD

The Centro de Innovación Italiano-Mexicano en Manufactura de Alta Tecnología Hidalgo (CIIMMATH), in coordination with the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE) and the Italian Association of Manufacturers of Machinery and Products for the Foundry Industry (AMAFOND), will give a training course in the aluminum die casting process (DIE-CASTING), by the Italian specialist engineer Claudio Mus.
