Innovation Days 2019 @ IMECE 2019

Together with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) hosted The Italian Way to Advanced Manufacturing round-table discussion panel on the occasion of the International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exhibition (IMECE) which took place from November 10 to 13, 2020 in Salt Lake City, (UT). The November 13th, 2019 panel was attended by approximately 200 researchers, academics and industrials from around the world who were taking part in IMECE’s advanced manufacturing and related conference tracks. The USA Market for Advanced Manufacturing (AM) and Robotics Manufacturing in the U.S. has often been assumed to be in long-term decline, with the competitive advantage moving to low-cost countries such as Mexico and China. Italy To Speak At International Symposium On Fluid Power & Motion Control 2013

Italians serve as Editorial Board Members for the 26th Annual University of Bath and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) International Symposium on Fluid Power & Motion Control (FPMC 2013) October 6 – 9, 2013. Italian institutions such as the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia are sending professors Massimo Milani, part of the Department of Science and Methods for Engineering (also Chairman of Fluid Power Net International [FPNI]) and Roberto Paoluzzi. Italian organization IMAMOTER , a research institute of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) will also be on board
