Italy's TRIA SpA has just finalized setting up a new branch here in the US. The US company’s name will be TRIA AMERICA LLC, with offices based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The new company is to grow TRIA's market share in the US and to expand its market activity into sectors such as packaging, building, automotive, etc. The US branch is the third for the company that has already established branches in Germany and Brazil.

According to the company, a branch in the US was necessary to gain market share in North America. Increasing business and marketing strategies, particularly in North America, by having an office and sales team based in the US was considered a necessary requirement to achieve its core strategies.

“After sales service will be a fundamental activity of our office based in North America” states the company, “and this gives ‘real added value to our products’”. The US branch will be integrated within TRIA headquarter's global strategies thus reflecting and implementing the Italian head office’s sales and marketing team policies. The branch will be independently managed and market itself here in the US through a sales network, participation at local trade shows, etc
