SIMEI 2011: International Exhibition of Machinery, Equipment, Products for Production & Bottling

More than six billion hectolitre drinks of all sorts are drunk annually in the world with projections estimated to show a steady increase in the years ahead - in particular soft drinks. This important sector needs always more technologically state-of-art machinery and equipment in order to improve the quality and control production costs.

Simei – biennial – meets all these requiremts: it is the largest strictly specialized exhibition, which presents at the same time all kind of machinery and equipment for oenology and for beverage production,bottling and packaging (wine, beer, mineral water, carbonated drinks, juices, spirits, brandies, alcohol, vinegar, cooking oil etc.) industries.

In the 90,000 sq. m. exhibit area of 2009 there were 705 exhibitors who attended to over 51,545 visitors representing over a 100 countries. The profile of exhibitors include builders of machines, equipment, fittings and products for wine making and for the production, processing, botling and packaging of drinks. Visitors are usually producers, bottlers and distributors of variety of beverage products such as wine, mineral water, beer, carbonated drinks, juices, brandies, spirits, vinegar, cooking oil, etc.
