From October 9 to 13 October 2018, fieramilano Rho will be the stage for the 31st edition of BI-MU, the most important Italian exhibition dedicated to the industry manufacturing metal cutting and metal forming machine tools, robots, automation, digital manufacturing, auxiliary and enabling technologies. It is the only trade show in Italy with real international character, the first one that will open up to industrial connectivity, by presenting a special focus on IoT, big data, cyber security, cloud computing, augmented reality, system integrators, additive manufacturing, control and vision systems. In 2018, Italy will be able to make a first evaluation about the results of a two-year industrial period oriented and driven towards the digital evolution of machinery and factories. Also thanks to the provisions of the National Plan Industry 4.0, 31.BI-MU will be a natural stage to illustrate the linking between the world of production systems and the digital technologies, offering an in-depth analysis of market trends and of the production models generated during the first years of the “fourth industrial revolution”.
