Fenzi SpA

Sectors:
Overview:

Fenzi started out as a family-run business in 1941 and has grown to become a worldwide leader in the new millennium. It stands out for its enduring success after concentrating mainly on the production of chemical products for the secondary processing of flat glass. A strong point is its ability to deliver quality products, which it has always maintained by striking the right balance among innovation, competitiveness and efficiency for almost seven decades. Today, as in the past, these distinguishing elements have earned Fenzi a reputation for increasingly superior and eco-friendly products.

The strictest international standards are used to certify Fenzi products: tests on chemical, physical and mechanical properties, durability and ageing tests are performed daily by the R&D Laboratory, at its customers’ premises and by internationally recognized test-houses across the globe.

Fenzi’s core business has always been the production of mirror-backing paints: the Duralux range caters to every need, from traditional to more sophisticated copper free paints, and including next generation paints that have a very low lead content, contain 70% less solvents and are formaldehyde free.

The IG sealants division is the largest and is where polysulfide, butyl and polyurethane sealants are produced under the Thiover, Butylver, Hotver and Poliver trademarks. Synergies with the Alu-Pro and Rolltech group companies allow Fenzi to offer aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and steel and polycarbonate profiles to IG manufacturers. The Glass Alliance network is therefore the most complete partner for IG manufacturers worldwide.

A rapidly-growing sector is that of decorative glass paints, which are produced in two different versions: Tempver glass enamels to screen print, satin finish and enamel glass for tempering, and the range of organic Decover paints for the cold decoration of glass and to obtain vibrant colors and the best color rendering. Decover also includes the Aquaglass range, which comprises single-component water-based paints for decorative applications in solid, full-bodied colors that combine the best characteristics of Decover paints with the eco-compatibility of water.

The Fenzi group has 7 manufacturing sites in Europe, America and Asia and distributes its products around the world. It is a worldwide leader in the production of chemical products for the secondary processing of flat glass. )
