The Alu-Pro group is focused in the production of metal spacers for insulating glass. The company, founded in 1992, has three production sites in Italy, Denmark and Poland. The headquarters are in Noale (Venice) on a 15.000 square meters area. Alu-Pro moved to this site in 2002 after the original plant of Salzano became too small for the company requirements.

In Noale the company runs eight production lines of the latest and most innovative technology. The product range includes hundreds of induction welded aluminum profiles available mill finished, anodized and painted. The Alu-Pro group owns Rolltech, based in Denmark and specialized in steel and stainless steel profiles. The latest development is the Chromatech and Chromatech Plus ranges. The special raw material used in very thin thickness (0.18 mm for Chromatech and an outstanding 0.15mm for Chromatech Plus) makes the two products the best choice to address the warm edge requirements. Nowadays most of the Central Europe insulating glass manufacturers are equipped to supply warm edge units and Chromatech and Chromatech Plus are the most used products. In Poland Alu-Pro has the joint-venture company Vetrim located in Opole. Vetrim produces aluminum profiles for i.g. and operates on the Eastern Europe markets.

Overall the Alu-Pro group reached in 2004 a production of more than 450 million linear meters of metal profiles. The company has a very international cut with more than 80% of turnover being exported. Alu-Pro products are used daily in more than 70 countries in the five continents. Alu-Pro created together with the sister companies Fenzi and Rolltech the Glass Alliance network offering to customers both service and technical backup everywhere in the world.
