For 30 years R&D CO.MA.S. has been developing two business lines. The first, coating plants for the production of adhesive tape, protection tape, masking tape, double sided tape, special tape for electronic and advertising information, and robotized unwinder. The second, expanding shafts, expanding chuck, pneumatic/ mechanic/pneu-mechanic bearings (safety chucks).
COBO S.p.A.
History: COBO was born in 1952 as a family company, to produce electric components for the industrial vehicle industry. In the sixties we started producing components for agricultural machines, beginning in this way the development and innovation process that, in 1975, brought the company to become a Ltd. Since then we began to give concrete form to the basic idea: to produce a range of articles as comprehensive as possible, dedicated to the off-road vehicles industry. In order to achieve this target, we started the process of establishment, take-over and sharing of new companies, specialized in the production of a specific range of products. In this way, COBO group is today able to provide customers with such an assortment of products that would be otherwise difficult to source in the specific market. This lets COBO bring about a penetration strategy on the global market, in order to become to be supplier of original equipment for every main manufacturer of industrial vehicles, agricultural machines, earth moving machines and lift trucks. Today COBO’s products are present in more than 40 countries in the world.
Coel Tunnel Srl
The Company Coel Srl (Electro Mechanic Company) was established in 1950 for manufacturing electrical kilns for thermal treatments and artistic ceramics. In that period the company took part, with determinant contribution, to the industry development for tiles and table-ware by making a kiln with a range that would have qualitative results higher than the standard in existence.
In 1967, thanks to the cooperation of a group of technicians specialized in tunnel kilns, Coel expanded its activity in the sanitary ware and brick field by changing its name, at the same time, from Coel to Coel Tunnel. The name of Coel Tunnel became synonymous with guarantee of quality and seriousness. From 1980, following and anticipating the technical innovation requirements (with particular attention to the energy saving and flexibility), kilns with prefabricated structure were built to allow a fast installation.
Coel Tunnel now has a traditional range of tunnel kilns with prefabricated modules, suitable for average and big productions of sanitary ware. Such kilns have low thermal mass, with combustion systems provided with total pre-combustion burners. This system allows the free entrance of combustion gas into the kiln with controlled temperature, since the excess of air for smoke dilution is independent from the combustion air. For each consumption there is an optimal (stoichiometric) combustion air/gas ratio, and the excess of air for dilution is regulated according to the quantity requested, without disturbing the same combustion.
In the last years, Coel Tunnel has started the production of shuttle kilns with cars of big capacity, suitable for firing sanitary ware, table ware, porcelain, bricks, refractories etc., obtaining excellent results regarding the firing times and energy consumption. These fully automatic kilns with a large possibility of changing the firing cycle represent, in the intermittent kiln field, the best you can find in the ceramic firing technology Such kilns can use natural gas, L.P.G. and diesel oil fuels and are also electrically operated for a power of Kw. 2.500 and over. The company aims at expanding and strengthening the automation process of production procedures in order to achieve maximum control of operations, their further simplification and the reduction of running costs

Comaf is a company specializing in the design of solutions and in the application of technologies for the implementation of automated systems. It works based on job orders, from the design of solutions matching the specifications provided by the customer to the implementation of automated systems in industrial production processes. It was founded in 1980 as a workshop specializing in the manufacturing and repair of machines for the brickwork industry. For over 25 years Comaf has been manufacturing industrial automation systems, creating functional and innovative solutions, which are environment-friendly and focused on life quality; it has a modern technical department, with qualified staff, for the study and the 3D design (allowing to perform tests before the manufacturing stage) of special machines, comprehensive automatic and semi-automatic systems, possibly with the help of robot systems, as well as of a wide range of solutions for the transportation of the raw materials and/or of the finished pieces. Thanks to its experience and organization Comaf can offer a wide range of services, from the feasibility study to the basic design, from the design to the manufacturing of innovative systems, particularly focusing on alternative and renewable sources for energy recovery from biomasses, as well as on the production of the pellet from the biomasses themselves or from wood.
Comaf has a production workshop of its own, where it manufactures and assembles all the supplied components, which are directly followed in the different stages: installation and preliminary testing at our plant to verify the design specifications, installation at the end customer’s, commissioning and final testing. Their specialized technicians take care of controlling the technical operating parameters of the machines and systems, and of proposing new management procedures.

Comelz Spa
Active in the branch since 1943, Comelz became a joint-stock company in 1981 when it moved to a modern new plant. Ever since Comelz specialized in the production of machines for the closing-room, it developed more recently its commercial space with a CAD software for shoe design and with numerically controlled CAM machines for the cutting of fiberboard, insoles, leather and synthetic materials.
Also significant is the presence in the stitching branch with a motor for sewing machines which combine brushless technology with an “intelligent” control unit oriented to automatic sewing units.
With its branch offices, Comelz is commercially present in the most important shoe-factories in industrialized areas.
