Glasstech Mexico 2023 will feature an Italian pavilion

GLASSTECH Mexico 2022

Glasstech Mexico is the professional Glass Technology Expo in Mexico. The event, held from Nov 30 - Dec 2, 2022 at the Expo Guadalajara, Fair Center, focuses on not only flat glass but also hollow/container glass. The target market is not only Mexico but also includes all of Latin American countries. It is the perfect platform where glass, door & window industries communicate and meet worldwide suppliers and Latin American buyers. North American Contingent At VITRUM 2021

The Italian Trade Commission - ITA and GIMAV , the Association of Italian manufacturers and suppliers of machinery, equipment and special products for glass processing, organized a delegation of foreign buyers to VITRUM 2021 that was held in Milano, Italy, from October 5 to 8, 2021. 70 delegates, from over 20 countries participated in the event with all the travel expenses covered by ITA and GIMAV. INDUSTRY PERFORMANCE IN 2020 Production fell 16.6% due to a drop in exports (-14.9%) and in domestic sales (-20.7%). This is how the pandemic negatively affected the performance of Italy’s Industry of Manufacturers of Glass Processing Machinery and Technologies that closed 2020 with overall sales of 2,027 million Euro. Imports also fell (-11.1%), causing the domestic market to shrink (-17.2%).
