Assocomaplast – through its commercial company Promaplast srl – is the organizer of PLAST 2015, the international exhibition for the plastics and rubber industry, which will take place at the Milan fairgrounds from the 5th through the 9th of May, 2015.
The annual Member Assembly of Assocomaplast – Italian trade association of 160 manufacturers of plastics and rubber processing machinery and moulds within CONFINDUSTRIA – took place on Wednesday, the 7th of June 2017 at Villa Cagnola in Gazzada Schianno (province of Varese). The Assembly included elections of the President and three Vice Presidents for two-year terms 2017-2019.
On Wednesday, 7 June 2017, the member assembly of the Italian trade association of manufacturers of plastics and rubber processing machinery and moulds approved the proposal to change the name of the association from Assocomaplast to AMAPLAST.
By the second deadline for stand assignment, more than 800 companies have confirmed their participation in PLAST 2018 – International Exhibition for the Plastics and Rubber Industries scheduled in Milan from 29 May to 1 June 2018.
IPACK-IMA AND PLAST SET TO SHOWCASE INNOVATIVE MATERIALS
The two exhibitions, part of the Innovation Alliance to be held at Fiera Milano from 29 May to 1 June 2018, have spawned a new satellite show devoted to innovative materials and packaging organised in cooperation with Material ConneXion Italia and presented on 7 February at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
Preleminary data shows a recovery for Italian manufacturers of plastics and rubber processing machinery, according to Assocomaplast (the national trade association, member of CONFINDUSTRIA, including over 160 manufacturers of plastics and rubber processing machinery, equipment and moulds) has analysed ISTAT data on Italian foreign trade in the sector for the first three quarters of 2016, comparing them to the same period in 2015. The general result is that imports continue to rise (+8.5%) and exports have returned to positive values (+1.5%).
