PLAST 2018: registration opened
The K fair in Düsseldorf provided the stage for the presentation of the next edition of PLAST, the triennial Milan trade fair organized by Promaplast srl to be held from May 29 until June 1st, 2018 in the halls of Fiera Milano, in Rho. The Organising Secretariat visited the booths of potential Italian and foreign exhibitors, handing over the documentation and outlining the new features they can expect from the upcoming event. In addition, the own stand at K encountered a notable level of interest among operators who received the first informative brochures.
Registration officially opened on November 9 with an e-mail announcement sent to potential exhibitors, including their own reserved access for the on-line registration, to be later confirmed by the payment of a deposit.
The Secretariat has already collected the first registrations and seen a lot of interest expressed in view of the first deadline of January 31st, 2017. Companies registered by that date will enjoy a 20% discount on the registration fee, in addition to priority assignment of booths.
After the first deadline, registration will be open until a second and final deadline of April 30, 2017, however at a lower discount of 10% on the registration fee.
As announced on February 10 this year, PLAST 2018 will join the THE INNOVATION ALLIANCE: for the first time together, five international trade fairs (IPACK-IMA, MEAT-TECH, PLAST, PRINT4ALL and INTRALOGISTICA ITALIA) will offer operators with a single entrance ticket the technological excellence of a number of fields of production, with a strong focus on the entire supply chain. A single, complete offer will span processing and packaging, plastics and rubber processing and industrial printing, graphic personalisation for packaging and labels, through to handling and storage of merchandise.
Also the next edition of PLAST will host three satellite-shows dedicated to as many outstanding industries: RUBBER (in its third edition, dedicated to the world of rubber), 3D PLAST (in its second year, dedicated to the production of additives and related technologies) and PLAST-MAT (making its debut, dedicated to solutions involving innovative plastic materials).
Also considering latest edition (registering 1,584 exhibitors from 57 countries and 50,087 visitors from 115 countries), PLAST will be the largest industry event in Europe in 2018.
