Italian Injection Mold Machinery Shows A Good Recovery and Strong Prospects

In particular, there was an above-the-average turnabout for the Italian injection moulding machines. In fact, the survey carried out by ASSOCOMAPLAST Secretariat, referred to the first half of 2010, highlighted the jump for sales in Italy and abroad not only - as easily imaginable - in comparison to January-June 2009 but even to the first half of 2008: sales recorded a 10,5% growth and even more considerable (about +33%) is the increase for sales on the domestic market, in the biennial comparison too.

The above mentioned results are also confirmed by the latest monthly surveys carried out by ASSOCOMAPLAST among its Members: in fact, also looking at the next months, up to the end of the year, the majority (44%) of interviewed companies at the end of August expected a further improvement in order logbook and sales, in comparison with the first half, that was even soaring with respect to the previous one, whilst 43% forecasted stability.
