3 for 1 Italian Innovation in Plastic Machinery Now Available in NAFTA!

Three Italian plastic machinery manufacturers are partnering with an American automation equipment supplier and sales rep to create a new network of companies that will market equipment in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.

Called North Italian Plastic Technology (NIP-Tech), the union brings together Italy’s Baruffaldi Plastic Technology Srl, Engin Plast SrI, and Comav SrI, and Grand Blanc, Mich.-based Alliance Automation. “The objective of the union is to make a qualitative leap in business development strategies, moving from a simple export stage, which has so far brought success to these Italian firms, to a more planned and structured activity of internationalization,” Engin Plast said in a company statement.

“The combined activity of the group of companies will allow investments in the reference markets to be made whilst sharing the costs and commercial risks.” According to NIP-Tech, each of the companies involved brings something different to the organization. Baruffaldi specializes in custom plastic extrusion equipment; Primac, a division of Baruffaldi brings its specialized machines for large corrugated plastic pipes; and Engin Plast brings its plastic recycling granulators and pneumatic transport systems, including feeding and dosing systems used to feed the lines with plastic pellets or similar materials. In addition to supplying automation systems, Alliance is a machinery manufacturer and robotic integrator that specializes in robotic water jet and foam pouring systems.

Alliance Automation is located in Grand Blanc, MI, just north of Detroit, and can be contacted at (810) 953-9539.
