Colgar's main plant is located in S. Pietro all'Olmo (Milan) while it's branch is located in Quarto d'Altino (Venice). The company began in 1945 when it started manufacturing metal forming machines, hydraulic and mechanical press brakes, twin press brakes, mechanical and hydraulic guillotine shears equipped with CNC controls, positioning units and accessories for sheet handling and cutting centers with automatic load unload. In 1970 Colgar began manufacturing CNC boring and milling machines with full axes hydrostatic T type configurations and movable column configurations with rotary traverse tables and accessories. In 1999 we became ISO 9001 certified. Colgar is now divided into two areas, each with it's own technical departments. The first is for metal forming machines and the second is for metal cutting machines with relevant separate assembly halls. Colgar is an important supplier for many major national and international companies.
