Belfortglass was founded in 1971, when it started the production of thiokol and butyl extruders for insulating glass, that are still today very well-known and appreciated all over the world.

In 1979 Belfortglass started the diamond wheels production, which has reached today a very high quality level also due to the continuous exchange of experience with the machine producers’ engineers. Their wheels, the traditional first installation wheels of the machines of Bovone Elettromeccanica and of other important machines producers, are considered reliable and top quality by the sectors’ operators. Their know-how allowed them to produce tools working at a very high speed: their HP wheels on the bevelling machines are an important producer of work- for instance 10mm. Bevel at10 mt/’.

Belfortglass machines are very reliable, long lasting and easy to work with due to a very exhaustive instruction books. Technical assistance is supplied also on very old models and also for these machines spare parts are always available. Second hand machines are completely rebuilt and covered by one year guarantee, as are new machines. In 1997 Belfortglass completed the I.G. machines range supplying i.g.lines and other accessories. These machines are built following the usual methods that ever since distinguish the industrial philosophy of their Company and follow up the requirements of many customers. Belfortglass also supplies aluminum spacers, dessicant, sealants and whatever necessary for insulating glass production.
