008, has celebrated in 2002 its 75th year of activity in the production of additives for moulding sands. The plant in Cosseria (Savona), working since 1987, placed on a surface of 35.000 m2, allows a production of 600 mt/day and a raw materials' warehousing capacity of 25.000 mt. Two modern laboratories supply to monitor constantly beyond 30 different chemical and mechanical parameters of finished products and incoming raw materials. Uncharged analysis of moulding sands' samples forsees 25 different tests, which results are recorded and accurately analyzed also with reference to the previous samples, the system configurations and the productive typology of the customer. This phase of assistance, supported with data and historical series' statistic elaboration and beyond 50 years of experience in the siderurgical sector, gives body to precise indications about the most suitable use and dosage of the additives The constant research to come up to the customer's needs has led the company to guarantee a more and more close relationship with the customer, short times of delivery (even less than 24 hours) and made to measure formulations for each foundry.
